Thread: Please review my new site

hello all

In real life I am a concert pianist and I just launched the newest version of my site.
The site is located at Avguste Antonov-Concert Pianist & Piano Teacher

I would appreciate all comments and suggestions.

OK...that was quite a journey. The site is stuffed with information but it is interesting and easy to read (except the homepage. Consider changing the font color, size, or bolding to make it easier to read). I would make a few changes to the letter requesting donations to give it a bit of polish but overall it is decent and gets the point across.

Halfway through your links I was thinking that the one thing conspicuously missing was MUSIC. But I finally did come across the links where I could hear music. The music was beautiful by the way. You did a great job of providing options for site visitors to share or bookmark your website.

All of the links work and the music and video downloaded quickly and without a flaw.

Consider adding a more conspicuous link your music on the homepage. I wasn't anywhere close to offering a stranger a donation until I heard the music. Great Job!!

I am one of those that beliefs a site should be as detailed as possible.
The text format is the one area where I am having problems.

For the letter, I am assuming you are referring to the one found at Dear Friends - Google Docs
Yea, not very good about writing those type of letters....

Actually, if you look on the menu, there is a page called music

I also believe in social connections , and there are still social items I need to add.

I have been thinking of adding a more obvious music menu or something. Working on that.

as for me, it's generally good. maybe a little change to some things as colors, fonts and sizes.

The header is good but the site background is too dark. I like how you have the piano as the background for the content. Though I would say that the piano gets in the way of the text. You could shorten the image of the piano then put the text in the space leftover. Overall it is a nice professional site.
