If I were starting a store with real stuff like that...i'd just install cubecart and do the amazon affiliations by myself...that way I have full control over everything...
If you want to use an affiliate site like that then just make sure you google them up and do research beforehand to make sure you don't get screwed![]()
Can't Touch This
I shall call him squishy, and he shall be mine, and he shall be my squishy!...in my pants
With them your just an affiliate of amazon. they just have everything setup for you. Dont need to do anything but drive traffic to the site. You can also sell your own things.
Amazon payout kinda sucks tho... 10%...

$40 up front.
$19.95 per month fee.
Be better off doing as stax says.
More to the site than amazon, there are other affiliates there, plus of course adsense.
If you want a good amazon site, and you want to add other affiliates to it, I have some decent scripts available.
See Online Book Store for all Tastes for one store front.
Yeah amazon sucks for fees, I have made like $2.25 so far on that site from amazon!
Made more off the auction ads.
May mess with it a bit and get some other affiliates into that site.
Its either $40 thats it or you can pay $20 a month... Its not both

Check again, it is BOTH.
The one time fee to set up your store.
Than the on going monthly fee for them to host it, etc.
You can not host it yourself it seems.
So, who is really making the money on this one?
ahh i misread I was at work... Good call... Yeah thats def a rip off..
Any other suggestions?

I still say just go with cubecart...they have a free version
What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

Anyone here run a membership site that is sucessful? More information on it would be nice
A lot of people run successful membership sites that provides a constant stream of PLR articles, eBooks, or complete websites.
zxpro168 added 42 Minutes and 50 Seconds later...
An example of a successful membership is nich-mania.com
On the front page, there is a link to a free eBook called the warrior manifesto.
http://www.incansoft.com/WarriorManifesto.zip
If you download that book, you will see more examples of people with successful membership sites.

i run a very successfully membership site
it is how you go about running it
you will see many sites out there that offer cheesy items that are outdated
in my adventure if you want to have a good membership site you need to always have the content on your site up to date
myself my site is based on digital items and i go out of the way to make sure i have things my members can find usefully
i have 2 types of memberships 1 is basic free 2 is paid

Personally, I think your better off going out and one-of-a-kind things and auctioning them off on eBay....![]()
Ebay can be good at times but in the past it has been more a hassle than its worth
