Thread: Best Way To Promote Your Service..

As a freelance article writer i often feel that i am not able to promote my services well.. Freelance sites are full of writer who have experience of more than 15 yrs.. but for a writer like me with experience of only 2 years only place left is forums.. but dont feel there are enough forums for the promotion..

Anyone has other ideas to promote services.. I would like to know..

I started as a freelancer too, and highly recommend you to build up a Blog where you offer to your clients some reviews of Old Websites.

Starting a blog is a great way to promote your writing skills, of course, since if your site is new...You have to either give out some reviews free of charge or charge very little so it will get you started. My husband and I have done the same thing now that we turned our site into a blog and now it is a PR3. Also, turning it into a dofollow blog will get you gaining traffic if you put yourself onto sites that list dofollow blogs.

I am also working as freelance writer. I placed my advt. banners on advertising sites most of them were free. Apart from that there are many free article submission sites that need regular writers for them. Send some good articles as samples to these sites. Also, contact the companies that are engaged in websites SEO business.

I suggest that you make a portfolio, probably a blog or a site where you can showcase your writing skills and the like. From there, join different blog community and social networking websites and promote your services in there using your portfolio.
