I think the benefits (health, government mandated, etc.) that you could get in a normal office job in the city. But the thought of working from the convenience of your home is super.
Hi! Is it possible to work from home for a constant client and to receive from him any benefits?
Been working at home for almost a year. And I really find it accessible.. And you really need to have a self discipline in order to succeed with it.. Sometimes its not challengingBut you need to work in order to live :P
My biggest challenge at this working from home is being tied to my computer. I don't give myself any free time to watch TV, read or just play with the dog. After a lifetime of working at my family owned business and in my own office setting downtown, I was excited get back to work and in the convenience of my home. I find myself getting obsessive about working. I'm now at it 12 hours a day, almost seven days week ( I take Sunday AM for church and then I'm back at it. This is not healthy, but I'm so driven to succeed that I can't seem to stay away from the computer.
My challenge is to make my sleep time balance...because since I work at home full time, I got insomnia...

The most difficult part for me is to earn in order to live. Sometimes, I'm earning below my should be income for the month to support my needs. That's why I need to do overtime and in case I have a big project, I make sure that I save my earnings for any future use.
Income depends on how hard working you are. It's just like this, no work, no pay so no money, no food. :happy-f: You really need to work hard in order to live. Also, there are no company bonuses and other benefits. Unless, your clients are really good to you, some might give you bonus.
The good thing of being a freelancer is that you have the freedom to do everything you want. Plus these other good points...
1. you can work for a day or just stay relax
2. earn money more than you need
3. save some of your earnings
4. accept or reject clients
etc....
the benefit that I get from working homebased is that I can see and take care of my children while working and that's enough for me.
The biggest challenge is finding honest clients that come from a distance. This depends. They seem to come in waves. If you are dealign with a small client ask for half of hte money in advance and go from there. They will need to earn your trust.
