Plusses and Minuses of Working from Home

Hallo to all!
Why do you prefer to work at home? Are there any disadvantages? Please, share your opinions!

I prefer to work at home..enjoy time for myself, have much time for my family, wearing comfortable clothes and working barefoot is FUN, LESS STRESS...and SAVE MONEY, sssuming you're not meeting with customers all day long, you won't have to buy expensive "work clothes" or use the dry cleaners as often. You also save money on telecommuting costs! No more driving to the office everyday. :1984:

disadvantages: Need for self-discipline...

Hi, i am new here but i am working for home part time almost 6 months now.
I prefer to work from home because i can work anytime i want and as much
as i want, with no one sitting on my head about what i am doing.
Right now i am not making enough so i can quit my daily job but i hope that
with this forum and your help i ill be able to make my work at home a full time
job with a full time income!!

I don't see much downside to working at home. I get a lot of personal freedom, I can schedule, manage and organize things the way I like. There's no authority figuring looming over me. I don't have any trouble staying disciplined. I work every day.

It's my dream to work at home as you can be very flexible about your working hours and you can see your family more.

Ive worked from home for more than two years. Its been the best 2 years of my working life. I have a nice view overlooking a lake and i find it a great place to think and get work done. I dont have the 2 hour traveling time so i can spend a little more time with the kids. I highly recommend.
