What are they? Please, share your experience.
Stress for starters
Home invasion.
Coffee.
Refrigerator.
Depression and lack of social life.

Of course, many dangerous... You will have less time to get in touch with
society... also your income will be unstabitily...
isolation - because you won't be annoyed on who used your favorite mug or worse stole it, no gossip from your office mate.
Boredom. Laziness. Video games.

Possible health problems because of spending too much in front of your computer. You tend to forget your social life cause your activities are mostly online.
No work, no money, no food, you'll suffer, you'll die?! So basically, you need to work hard in order to earn money.
Not so hidden danger:
[MENTAL]The Internet! [/MENTAL]
Work at home is a dangerous if you were a workaholic since you use all times improperly and not shared it for your own health, family, and friends.
Yes people have made some very good points. Lack of social life, isolation, stress (depending on how much you make and how guaranteed your income is). The other downs to this business are no insurance coverage as you are your own employer, so you have to pay for all of your insurances on your own.

Make sure you carry out a health and safety risk assessment.
I won't call it danger, but rather the downsides...
You loose out on many things happening in the 'real world'.
Work from home can be very dangerous, you lack a lots of social life. However the good things is you don't have to listen to anyone or wake up 5am in the morningbut you will find that you work like 100hours a weeks
i like my cubicle job better![]()
Working at home can make you more passive and that leads to worse physical shape and lack of interaction with the outside world (of course you it all depends on you), but still it is very convenient and i think it beats working away form home.
I think once you learn the negatives they can all be overcome. I make a point of getting out for works, and developing a social life that is away from the computer.

Exactly! You just need to identify, then schedule out of the home activities accordingly.
Personally I now work in an office, but with a close team of guys that come and go, so one can still find themselves sitting in a room at a computer by themselves
I like to get out every day for lunch, and set days each week that I engage in "outside" things like ATV'ing, track days, hiking, dinner out, etc to keep the sanity.

The only danger is the possiblity of getting nothing done. You need to treat your business like a regular 9-5 job and be productive. You are more likely to be distracted at home.
some hidden dangers of working at home is losing your social life. losing your contact to real world. what i experience i'm having speech difficulty because of lack of interactions.

I am able to concentrate the best when it is very quiet so I usually work while everyone is asleep.
That means when everyone's awake, i'm usually sleeping![]()
I would say isolation, but you push yourself to get out and see friends this is not a problem. We try to have family day once per week along with church and other activities throughout the week. It doesn't always work that way, but we usually fit church and a few activities in.
1. Isolation. Planning your social life everyday is very important if you work at home.
2. Lack of mentors and people to learn from.
3. The danger of different levels of productivity.
Maybe not everybody should work from home, unless they really need the money. What do you think?
I think unsuitability of income is a -ve point of working from home specially for freelancers and webmasters.
i agree.Boredom. Laziness. Video games.
and
something u think u r the only one
remained in this world
Working online may lead hand cuffs in your hands because now a days some online companies in name of online form fillings makes us to do illegal works against the law that could put you behind the bars. So please check out and gather info about that particular site before giving your personal information to them
I have heard that there is a problem of not being able to distinguish between "work time" and "play time" and as a result you become depressed as your always within your working environment. Having said that though, there must be a lot of positives from working at home given the freedom of time and ability to work around any obstacles - dentist for example.
Hi)
i cant work at home, 1-2 days yes but then i want to scream!!!!
i need to seat in my chair all the day, have nobody real to talk to....
so i think its the most unpleasant thing of home work.
I always sleeping to my home.
Lack of Sleep
Improper Time Management
Meeting other professionals in the area get a bit harder.
I think only one plus point, if we are doing work from home, WE CAN WORK ANY TIME....

Hidden dangers of working at home in my opinion are:::
1.) Your Health - The more you work at home sitting at the PC them more tempted one becomes to adopt Lazy habits which end up cutting back on exercise & posing health questions.
2.) Taxes - (Depending on where you are in the world) - In the USA even home businesses have to worry about filing taxes every year. It's common for some home business owners to cut corners & some not even file for their business. This can end up catching up to you a few years down the line and lead to an audit. (Anything that makes money, the IRS wants a piece of)
3.) Seclusion - That's right, people that work from home have a tendency to fall into a reclusive position where they don't go out and socialize in the real world as much anymore. Especially once they get used to being able to do everything online from making money, shopping for clothes, getting new electronics, & even buying food & having it delivered to their door now days. seclusion can lead to depression
well, the above are the first three things that popped into my mind from experience. results may vary for different people in different lines of business from home.![]()

i think im already anti social. i dont hang out with friends anymore, but my gf is always around me. and i think its literally my life is just within me and her. i mean shes all i got and my families.
plus im experiencing chronic constipation sometimes.
Distractions - thinking you should clean, the phone ringing - friends and family calling and not taking it seriously that you are 'at work' because you are working from home. Plus there is something good psychologically when you have to get up and dressed and out. You prepare yourself mentally for the day ahead, whereas working from him this is harder. Also, your home is always associated with work, you never get a break away from remembering work.
From my own experience. the disadvantages of working from home is lack of social life and tendency of being lazy and become stagnant, That is why I do what ever I can to maintain the right attitude and right mindset.
Being at home all the time, you need to go out at least twice a week to meet people or whatever. Anyway, that's what I do.
Working at home with 2 cats and 2 dogs is sometime difficult.
Dogs want to go for a walk, cats come and sit on the computer... Last week I lost 30 minutes work as a cat pressed the keyboard.
But at the end, I am happy to work from home.
Always with my wife, no road traffic, start and stop when ever I feel like. But I have to think (work) the same as if I worked at the office. If I want to get a decent earning, I have to work from 9 to 5. I usually put about 8 hours a day between 8 AM and 9 PM if there is no hockey or soccer on TV.
I am happy to work from home and when I think about it, I would not return in an office.
I started to work from home for about 1 mouth , and sometimes it scares me how time is flying and is night and i didn't eat or feed the cats![]()
