I have seen many offers of work at home but can't find any job?
Do anyone really offer work at home jobs?

I love all the ads on our local channels lately "I made $40,000 last month and this months goal is $70,000" then the website is merely a lead generating site that sells your names to scammer work from home places. Always be careful and question everything would be my best advice. As for me I gave up on finding others to let me work from home and just stated my own thing with websites and designs. I had NO experience in it but if you really want something then you can do it!

There does seem to be a lot more of corporate jobs that let you telecommute though which opens new possibilities for work too. Search job boards for telecommuting jobs might help too.

Yes , they do. First , you have to be 50% expert in any field (no need for perfection) . Then establish your self as expert. Go to forums , offer some great advice in your area of expertise. Then contact other forum members for work. Then after a few months , it will become viral and you will see lots of clients appearing at ur doorstep. Not to forget freelancing sites like elance and rentacoder.

    Thats exaggerated ...

Even if you are a very good designer/ programmer you will not get clients easily. Also, if you are a 50% expert and not able to satisfy the client you got, it will be very difficuilt for you to proceed further.

Those tv ads, notice that each time one runs, it has a different url to go to?
Got to love MLM and the people who turn out such ads.

The work at home schemes have been around since the days of the pharoahs.
Just a way, as noted above, to get your name, address and so forth so that others can bombard you with their pitches.

One I always loved is where you ask for information and get back a letter that says, send me $5.00 (less and more) for the complete information package about the work at home scheme.
When you do, the information package simply tells you "now place ads for other people to work at home and when they answer, send them the same letter I did you asking for money for more information. WHen they do, you then give them this same information".
    You will get rich!!!!

    That is hilarious...

Magician : Give me 10$, I will teach you a trick to make instant money.

Boy : Ok, take this and tell me.

Magician : Thanks. This is the trick. Now you can teach this to your friends and earn money.

My last "real" job required a degree to get it. That degree cost me a lot of money (still paying for it actually) Does that mean that the job was a scam??

You know what has always gotten me is this, If you can make $24k doing x why sell an ebook for $5, wouldn't you just spend more time doing x but some people don't like private victories they like others to know they are really smart so some of those give me $5 and I'll show you how to make $20k are ligit but the problem is actually finding one

I found rentacoder a complete waste of time. I found myself being underbid constantly by people in 3rd world countries, and for the jobs I posted where I was trying offload work those same people were telling me how they thought my projects should be coded even though I clearly outlined exactly what had to be done. I'm sorry, but I've been doing this a lot longer than most (if not all) of these people, and these are my projects. No more rentacoder for me.

Just got an email with the following information:

    Nitro Marketing Openings

I don't remember applying to this company and am not saying this is legit. However, if I was willing to work 40-50 hours at home, I would apply for the Affiliate Manager's job. However, at this point in my life, I find that overwhelming.

They have some other jobs listed which some of you might find interesting.

So many of these work from home tout services make it seem like its a breeze to make 40,000 a month from home lol what a joke. working from home and making a solid income from it is seldom less work than having any other job.

I think it is a bit ridiculous with most of the ads you see either on tv or in your local newspaper, even magazines about making XXX,XXX amount in a month. Its bogus.

However, there are legit companies that do let you work at home. I know at least one around where I live but you have to go to the job site for 2 weeks of training. Also, speaking from my end of the business world, my company allows employees to work at home.

So its not totally bogus, there are people that let you work at home but stay away from those saying you'll make thousands in a month, that is most likely a scam.

Forget about those paid to work at home that request you to pay for them before you get the job. If you really want to work at home, work as freelancer, offering your service is much better
