I'm going for Obama or Edwards on the Democratic side

wow anyone wanna bet on a candidate?
I have a feeling it's going to be Clinton vs. Romney in the end.
A republican will win in 2008

Repubs are not liked very well atm, I think you're trully not seeing the entire picture atm.
The main problem is that the choice democratic candidates are so poor right now. Historically an African American and a woman have never even won any primary and now they they the front runners? Doesn't look good.
Hucklebee, Romney and mcCain are presidential material. One of then can and will win.

The republicans may be fielding some good presidential material, but the odds are against them.
America is ready for a change.
8 years of republicans who have run roughshod over our country and stomped it good.
A democrat will win the presidency.
Americas always wants change ,but family values and terrorism trumps the minds of most Americans
See, republicans are about appealing to peoples fears. They are very savvy and smart and will likely win.

They helped create most of the fears!
Get real, the republicans right now have nothing new to offer the people.
If you like the rhetoric you have heard for the past 8 years, then vote republican.
America is ready for change and the democrats know this.
Why if you listen carefully to all of them, they say change.
Not fear tactics like the republicans.
Huckabee has so many skeletons in his closet he'll be hammered left and right, he is a flip flopper much like Romney, McCain also is very weak on immigration, not good for a repub..

Only real chance the republicans have is Ron Paul.
If the national party would officially recognize him and start backing him.
That happens, even the buttholes at Fox would have to finally recognize him also.
In all honesty I want Romney to win because he is the most capitalistic of all the candidates which benefits entrepreneurs.

there's a lot more to look at than just one aspect though...hopefully you like him for more than just that one reason

Ummm, there have been so few female, let alone black, candidates that your logic holds little weight there.
Regardless of your personal political leanings, both Clinton and Obama are pretty strong candidates for the democratic side of things. All things considered, including Hillary's direct tie to a past president, and the fact that Obama's race seems to be actually helping him more than its hindering him. They are certainly not nobody's who decided on a whim to toss in their name as a Candidate.
Obama def. ranks high on my overrated meter. He is all talk and almost no substance.
Hmm..old thread but looks like Romney is still in the race and doing well. Obama wins SC. Romney could very well become our next president. I would not be surprised if he won,and still predict he will.
I thought the Clintons did well for the american economy during their 2 terms, look know, nearly half of the world is on its knees because of what is going on there in america. For me anyone who can promise to turn things around has my Thumb Up, either Hillary or someone else.
