I saw that story earlier today.
Yes, I agree that he and the others are right.

As they say, ban guns and the only ones with guns will be the bad guys.

I completely disagree. What on earth are you going to use a handgun, semi-auto or shotgun for? Hunting? Ya, right.
The only use for these types of guns are for killing other people, nothing else.
I think guns, with the exception of hunting rifles, should be outlawed. Ok, I get your point on how the bad guys will be the only ones with guns, but after a while, if Canada and the US team up to ban them, there won't be any left.
Hopefully we can flip the laws on Marijuana for Guns. (Oh, that gives me a topic idea!)

The point behind the 2nd amendment is to KILL PEOPLE not for hunting.

You are still lost.
A ban will only hurt the innocent citizens, not the criminals.
See countries that have banned weapons (and most if not all hunting).

Actually, the 2nd amendent gives citizens the right to bear arms.

Meant for militia (which is why the anti-gun groups are wanting the supreme court to ban weapons in that there is no militia).

Yes it does not limit it for a certain reason, the reason it's there however is of course to kill people not animals.

The entire argument of 'you don't hunt animals with that gun' is lame as hell as it's not the intended point behind the 2nd amendment, nor was it ever.

I support the 2nd Amendment, and those who don't will wish they had the day they see the gov'mint smashing down their doors because they chose to exercise the 1st Amendment! All hail the militia!

Sadly, I'm squirrelly enough to feel I've just made myself a target of investigation.
