SAINI SUNPURA, India - A baby with two faces was born in a northern Indian village, where she is doing well and is being worshipped as the reincarnation of a Hindu goddess, her father said Tuesday.

The baby, Lali, apparently has an extremely rare condition known as craniofacial duplication, where a single head has two faces. Except for her ears, all of Lali's facial features are duplicated — she has two noses, two pairs of lips and two pairs of eyes.

"My daughter is fine — like any other child," said Vinod Singh, 23, a poor farm worker.

I sure hope they don't continue treating the poor little tike as a goddess when she is older.

Because if they do, they could sacrifice her.

I beleive that's what happened to a child who was born with a tail, and then sacrificed.

People aren't meant to have two faces. I fear this poor girl will be treated like some sort of circus attraction or freak show for the rest of her life. What sort of a life will that be?

Well dont worry guys... thats a old news. I am an Indian. I guess she went through a surgery and the dupes were separated. And regarding the worship... mah...! Nobody actually cares about it...! And also its lame to worship. Give me break...its just a gene disorder...!
