Thread: Generation X whats the problem?

Personally a very sad day for me today. Hillary is conceding to Obama atleast to her email list so far, haven't heard it hit the press as of yet, but I'm sure it will. This is one Democrat that will not vote Obama. I have been so disheartened by the entire process this time, more then usual. I feel the media has controlled both sides from day one picking their candidates all the way. So now I'm down to voting Ron Paul, or moving in with Kalina and Zap!!!

The media was intended to help keep our government in check, yet they seem to have way over stepped their boundaries this time more then ever in truly abusing their power to force their candidates, both Republican and Democratic onto the country. why is it we allow this to happen and never seem to question it? The Boomer generation protested when things went against there beliefs, I feel like the Generation "X" is living up to our stereotypical name. Too many lay back and complain, but refuse to take a stand as previous generations did. Why is that do you think?

The sad thing?
Too many democrats will vote the party line no matter what.
Like the wife and her family, nothing but DID's!
What I have called them from day one.

The odd thing, not one of them voted for Obama in the caucuses or supported him.
But now they will vote for him.

I was pulling for Hillary to the bitter end!

Bottom line?
We get the government we vote (or in reality, don't vote) for.
