What do you think?
Is the guy just looking for a payday or does he have a legitimate beef?

Legitimate beef.

Could be considered both....
They are invading his privacy and wants a payday for it...

I didn't read the whole story. If Google went onto a private road to film for their street view, Google is defeinetly at fault. However if they shot from a public street and happened to shoot private property, that's on the person.. IMHO,.

Hi,
I feel the guy does have a beef never should have been taken.

Just goes to show how American Canadians are becoming. I expected the first suer to be American, as they sue over everything and anything. This should be interesting to see how it plays out.
I recon both.
Wonder what hes hiding??
Google needs to be challenged constantly to remind them that people will not take their crap.

That is true, so true

A man peeing on roadside was also captured in street view ... now removed.
He has more valid case to sue google?![]()
I say legitimate!
From what I read Google did go down a private road to get the images that are in contest. Which was wrong and that should be sued!
But they clam that all the images that was took could already be found online, I think this fact is just trying to muddy the waters. But it still brings up a question. If this was true what then? Sue Google for trespassing, that's all I can see wrong here if facts are true.
But sue Google anyway, that's what people do nowadays. Sue first, ask questions later...
Raises interesting issues about privacy issues will all these satellite photos and whatever . Me thinks privacy rights are further down with technology increases and there is nothing we ca do to stop it ..
