400 patrons had reportedly been taken ill with gastroenteritis after dining at "The Fat Duck" restaurant in the U.K. It is a 3-star Michelin rated restaurant that had been voted as the best restaurant in the world.
Among the offering of its 130GBP ($182) menu are delightful items such as
SNAIL PORRIDGE
SCRAMBLED EGG AND BACON ICE CREAM
SALMON POACHED IN LIQUORICE GEL
SOUND OF THE SEA (Reportedly comes with sand and an Ipod)
Tasting Menu
I would say no wonder people dining there are taken sick afterwards.
The owner/chef have been trying to promote fried mealworms recently. Perhaps he should hire me as a consultant and I will show him how to make human placenta soup! :devlish:
