Thread: When You Think YOU Have It Bad

The gap between the rich and the poor continues to widen in much of the world. It doesn't have to be this way, or does it? What is YOUR opinion?

that's nuts! meanwhile check the Forbes richest 400 Americans...then compare and contrast with the rest of the USA!

Our friend witnessed extremes of this nature when he was in India...very sad.

That high rise ion the first pic...with the private swimming pools overlooking shanty town??? unbelievable!!

yeah.. and even here where I live.. you see some real extremes from one portion of town to the other.

that's so sad.

Are they individual swimming pools on each of those levels of the high rise? (well jacuzzi anyway).

Not a bad place to stay I guess, but the view would definitly be depressing to say the least.

The only GOOD thing I can say about these pictures is that at least the poor are in the face of the rich rather than being squashed off on some remote end of town etc.

I was able to witness some of this when I was traveling in China. Some REALLY remote places with very limited money, but some of the nicest people I've ever met!
