LOS ANGELES (Oct. 1) - Britney Spears ' continuing downward spiral took a devastating turn on Monday when she was ordered to relinquish custody of her children by a judge who had cited a troubling lifestyle fueled by drugs and alcohol.

Oh my Gosh, something finally went against a celebrity in the courts... just when I didn't think it was possible. Terrifying to know that K-Fed is a better parent, God help those poor defenseless and innocent kids!

It's sad all around. I think this will be devastating for Brit, won't be surprised if she takes her own life. Perhaps she'll smarten up.

yes I agree with colleen. I hope she smartens up and kills herself.

The sad part is, I think here being a celebrity actually went against her. Do you know how many kids got wack-a-do's & druggies for mothers these days? She may not be the best rolemodel but there's worse mothers out there.

Madonna now there's someone who Brittany should follow. After she had kids she pretty much cleaned up her act.

I cannot stand hearing anymore about all 4 of them; Paris, Nicole, Lindsay, & Brittany. My mother calls them "dirty little girls that should be ashamed of themselves." lol

We gotta get Christina Aluglera into a scandal (She's the hottest of all IMHO) and make it a 5 some.

Then a sprinkling of Shakira and maybe a dash of Beyonce make it one big par-tay.

I'm pretty tired of hearing about her.. at first it was funny, now it's just incredibly sad.

Your mother is being charitable as many would consider that as a gross understatement. The way they are heading, they are going to seriously injure or kill some innocent people soon.
