Face it, the namby-pambies in our government and in our court system would never allow us to use the CIA or the miliitary to really go after the terrorists.

That would be 'smart'..

Be smart like the Israelis.
Get people to tell us about the terrorists, use satellites, planes, drones to look for them.
Then blast them!

Only problem with that is alot of the time we fuck up and kill civilians and no actual terrorists

It sounds nice and ramboish, but usually does not work as well as it sounds.

Hopefully, if Paul wins, he won't be impeded by partisan politics in the House and Senate... not much good if he can't get what he wants passed, eh?

As much as I like to dream tho, I'm still thinking (heaven forbid) we're looking at a Clinton win.. the Republicans need to stop the infighting and come to a unified consensus now, and not at the convention.

Clinton, oh god I shudder at the thought of her winning.

BTW the air strikes Dawg spoke of can be great, the problem is when they backfire. It causes more reasons for terrorists to spread like the disease they are.

Highly trained commando strike units are possibly the best chance we have against terrorists IMHO. The key however is to do it in a way that does not cause more terrorists, they do afterall spread like the disease they are. Making more of them is not exactly what we want to do.

As long as their are sheiks, mullahs, whatever, spreading their messages of hate in mosques around the world, there will always be terrorists.
Then there are countries that support the above (think SA).
Face it, that religion has now been taken over by hatemongers.

Speaking of SA, they have banned bibles, and other religions in their country.

Yes there will be terrorists, however we do not want to give them reason to make more.

Imagine if your family was killed because some government was going after someone they thought of as a terrorist. The terrorist was not with your family, your family did not support them, the government made a huge mistake and bombed the wrong house.

Would you, your friends, family be more inclined to join the 'terrorist' movement?

We do not want to help their recruitment. We should also stop supporting the very countries where most of the terrorists come from, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia to name a few
