True, but when we went for totally false reasons I would say it wasn't worth the $$$ in Iraq. Taking away man power to get Bin Laden to fight a war we never should have, causing more problems than the country 'Iraq' had originally.

At some point, the idiots running our country, our states, our counties and our towns and cities have to understand that they can not spend more than they take in.
They can not tax at a high rate.

You know, you look at the history of the roman empire and then at our history, and you see we are on the same slippery slope.

Well the problem is your average American is taxed over 52% of his gross income when all is said and done. It's not just what is taken out of your paycheck, it's also sales tax, property tax, vehicle registration tax, liquor tax, tobacco tax, and hundreds of other hidden taxes and fees that the government collects from us.

The government can raise taxes at will or like they do lately add new taxes where they never were before.. Remember once our congressmen and senators are elected we cannot get them out for 2 or 4 years. They get elected collect a nice paycheck, vote in their own raises, then go off and live merrily on a nice fat pension the next time around no questions asked.

Hey now! It's only 14% in Ontario (going down to 13% on Jan 1st!).
Some provinces don't even have a sales tax so they only pay 6% (5% as of Jan 1st).

Problem is most of the money they make is not from their wage, that's a very small portion of what they make. Special interests groups, back end deals, etc make most of their money in the long term.

They tax the crap out of us, yet they still dont' get near enough to pay for what they spent!

Off with their heads.. Fire all the mofos and get WTF'ers to be acting congress.. We'll even make a new amendment to let the Canadians come on board too.

Seriously though congress needs to trim a boat load of useless spending, fire an ass load of government workers that do nothing but collect a paycheck. If congress would balance our budget as if were their own checkbook, we'd be in great shape financially as a nation.

Big problem with pork barrel spending is this:
Get rid of his pork barrel, but dammit you best leave mine alone!
Of course, the mofo's in congress are elected by people who really do not look at their records. Or I should say, the small minority that actually votes.

The first one that actually comes out with a clear cut program to get us the fuxx out of Iraq within 6 months of being elected. Same with Afghanistan, South Korea, Japan, and so forth.

Why he is gathering more momentum day by day as people discover what he is proposing.
It is nice to see someone with smarts as a presidential contender.

Well where in afganistan the dutch, we pay like what 300milion max a year to the total militairy yet we bin there for over 2 years 11 deaths in total and plenty of fire fights.

So if you think 16.4milion people in the country divide 300 to that and its not that expenisf per home Atleast where building homes schools water etc there.. not making the land flatter as it is like the american army with all those bombing.
