Top Ranking in Google but Not on yahoo!

Hi,I rank high on google for some of my core keywords, but i am nowhere in it for yahoo at all. What issue might be related to this? Belows are my hypothesis,

1. it is because spammy sites link to my website, so I've got blocked from yahoo.

2. Cloaking / lifting copy?

3. Duplicate contents?

4. All of these

5. None of these

What would be the best possible answers to this?

Idk, but I wouldn't worry about Yahoo!, Google is much better and more widely used

A lot of traffic comes from Yahoo, I guess it depends on your website. I would worry about Yahoo!.

Have you submitted feeds to yahoo?

If your website come in the google on page 1 then don't worry about yahoo result. Just forget it. Google will give you more visitors.

Why would he forget about it? Surely it would make alot more sense to rank high on both and get even more traffic.

Your quite right. If your on P1 of Google you will get more visitors but the rest of your logic is totally flawed.

I for one would rather have 500 visitors come from Yahoo! which will convert rather than 5000 visits from Google with zero conversion.

Yahoo! is far more accurate for targeting than Google. Anyone would be silly NOT to rank in Yahoo! as well as Google.

High ranking + Targeted keywords = More traffic and conversions.

It depends on when you submitted your site. Yahoo will almost always be the last to index you. Google will almost always be the first. Yahoo wants to try and get you to pay $300. Eventually, they will index you.

Don't know what is your problem, All my sites catch Yahoo! before Google

I do agree, Google rules but you should also concentrate on Yahoo, MSN and other SE's. Yahoo has different algorithm then what Google must be using. If you are ranking good on Google you may be doing better in Yahoo too, may be in future

Do you have your position at Yahoo Directory ? it really helps a lot.

I think Google matters the most..I`m indexed in yahoo also but I dont get much traffic from yahoo...... 90% is from google...I dont knw where yahoo stands..

You could try submitting your sitemap to yahoo site explorer that usually helps things.

It's better to rank high both in google and yahoo, even in MSN... Than to rank in just one SE..

I found it easier to get indexed in yahoo, but easier to rank in google. I havent figured why tho

Even Google will penalize you for above reasons. Google ranking algorithm and Yahoo algorithm is different. You may need more backlinks for Yahoo SERP.
