hi just want to ask how can i post my ads to yahoo groups without moderation or is there any other way?

I would like to know this too. I am more interested in sitemap and webmaster related groups

You can join the open groups..But the consequences according to Kryvast are these groups are full of spams messages..And I don't think you can get visitors by using it..Few maybe but it can help you to get more backlinks.

Open groups are full of spam messages. I think that such neighbors can hurt your site reputation.

There are many open groups on yahoo but like what other said they are full of spam.

Just search for a group that is not moderated. You can search it on Yahoo, "free classified yahoo groups".

Or you can create your own groups and start a posting ads..

I don't think this yahoo group thing is still worth the time and work. I really don't think they're effective anymore.

There are many groups which allows you adds in Groups and also you can send message to group which also allow you to put some text and link add in it so you can go for it.

Yahoo Groups are best and once i got backlink from it but nowadays they are full of spam so i think the value is not so much as they had.

I've been thinking a lot about Yahoo! Groups recently. This is partly because I'm a member of more than 30 mailing lists hosted there. But it's also because I find myself running into limitations that seem pretty silly in 2006. More importantly, I feel like Yahoo Groups can serve as the collaborative (not just communications) platform for bringing people together in interesting ways.

There are bits of JotSpot (notable Tracker), WordPress, and Flickr that I think could be sprinkled into Yahoo Groups, not to mention Google Maps and/or Wayfaring, Yahoo! Local, Google Calendar, and a few other things.

This definitely means thinking about Yahoo Groups as more than place to host a free mailing list, which is how most people use it today.

But before I ramble on too long, I'd like to know how you would like to see Yahoo! Groups evolve. What's missing? What killer applications or add-on services deserve to be part of the service? Are there alternative services that are providing a lot of this already?

I too believe that yahoo group is less effective, because most of the members of the groups are also just wanting to post their ads and not interested on others posts. however yahoo groups is dofollow so you can improve your backlinks there

if you put your ads on others group its always go to the moderation. i suggest make your own group and publish on yahoo member. When they join in you can place your ads in each mail. In this way you can use this promotion work.

All I can say about that is make sure you sign up to read online because everybody else does if you don't you will get thousands of emails and nobdy will be reading yours

You can post your ads on those yahoo groups which are non-moderator groups and these groups are full of spam.

yes i agree with you if there is a moderation than it should be somewhat quality but when dont required any moderation than definitely it should be spamming no doubt about it..

I agree it's a waste of time it does no good to advertise to the advertisers. Online advertising is such a waste. Classified Ad Sites don't get you traffic.

The only one that has got me any traffic is Craigslist I got over 4000 Uniques last month from them. I run 25 ads BUT they all have be different or the filters won't let you post them. Also if you make them to spammy like "Make 5000 a week" the people will flag them off.

Yahoo groups isn't as effective as it used to be these days the focus is more on social media, Facebook Fan pages do a much better job, and is a lot more spam free as they have much better spam detectors that can be used to detect bot-like behaviour.
