Yahoo Mail Classic Gets Chatty

Yahoo announced that it now offers an SMS chat feature in its classic version of Yahoo Mail, something Gmail has been offering for several months, and Yahoo has been doing in its newer version since 2007.

I went for many years not using any designated messenger system becuase I didnt want to junk up my harddrive with unneeded applications. I love that I could still communicated via mail chat with the people in my contacts. One of the reasons I still use yahoo!

Wow, way old news but I have to agree that this is one of my favorite features of Yahoo Mail. I can chat with friends even when I am not at my home computer and dont have the messenger available.
