never found yahoo that hard personally, we seem to always get sites ranked very well in yahoo with next to no effort. Our main attention goes on google and the rest follow suit.

Yahoo is main focusing on onpage optimization of site and also it is focus on old domain for your site. So if you want to get ranking in yahoo than try to do more focus on onpage optimization of site. Which may help you to get ranking in yahoo search result.
