Thread: how can I get approve in yahoo directory

I was reading the Yahoo! Directory Submit Service Agreement and is a part were it reads: "Inclusion in the Directory is not guaranteed. Subject to the terms below, and in Yahoo!'s sole discretion" and my question for those who had applied to yahoo dir, any of you have been denied by yahoo dir?

Indeed, it's time to get the old plastic out of the wallet i'm afraid. Make sure your site is unlikely to be declined before you give them any money seeing as the fee is non-refundable.

Isn't Yahoo Directory getting shut down once Bing fully takes over the search engine and search algorithm from yahoo.

I have been reading that some webmaster who have already paid the $299 American Dollars to be included into yahoo directory are complaining because the merger between yahoo and bing will be in effect before the end of this holiday season.

Which means yahoo directory is going down and people are not getting refund for the months within that 1 year listing they paid for which their listing is going down because of yahoo directory closing.

Heard the same thing i wouldn't do anything with them until this is complete or their is some happy medium met.

Has not happened in america yet, but this is proof of how Yahoo Directory may be shutting down soon.

Yahoo itself said that they feel that their search results pages are better than their own directory. Read the brief article about it.
