Thread: How did you like Yahoo Answers ?

Yahoo Answers is a unique way to get answers and i feel it is fun as when someone answers my question, I get to choose best out all the answers.
Mostly the questions i want to asked are already answered which saves a lot of time.
I Like it !

I like yahoo answer, it's very helpful and I'm too answer to some questions i like or i find myself I can answer to it

One thing I've noticed... a lot of people answering don't have a clue what they're saying!

I think many Yahoo answers categories are totally filled with all sorts of spam, I mean people spamming this great service in order to get some visitors to their sites.
They should do something about it. They should take up measures such as reduce the maximum number of answers one person can do in a day.

I'm getting pissed off with Y!A now.
I have a PhD in chemistry from a good UK university but some smart arse teenagers, who know less about the subject then I have forgotten, think they can trump me on the science questions. Twats.

I find it hilarious when people who have no idea what they are talking about try to sound like they do, I used to tutor other Biology Majors in college for extra cash to pay rent.

I always used to tell them, there is not enough money in the world they could pay me to deal with their stupidity, if you do not know the basics already I am not going to teach them to you.

How can I help you learn advanced concepts in molecular and microbial biotechnology if you cannot even properly construct a lab report or log data.

If you don't know what DNA translation is, how can I teach you the mechanics of Protein Synthesis?

I used to ask them, why are you even pursing biology as a career? If you have no passion in it.


Back on topic, I have never relied on Yahoo Answers for anything, they are called Yahoo Answers, but you can never find the right answer you are looking for when you are looking for it.

You always get half-ass answers, which leave you asking more questions than just the original question you were just trying to find the answer to

I know it can be very disheartening at times. Try not to give up.

I know for a fact of my own trail and error, that answers get people to my site. I nice little backlink.

They might not know what they are talking about. The next reader might and that person will click and go to your site for information.

yahoo answers is great resource to get visitors in your site.

Yahoo answers are good. Mixture of different people views. you can post a question and can receive replies. It's a good way to know views of different people. I like it.

It's ok for both personal and promotional use. The most useful answers always get noticed.

It is really nice as we can find any information related to any category. You have the choice of asking a question in yahoo answering.

its a good way to promote something but please dont spam.cuz yahoo will surely see you and suspend your account and theres nothing you can do to lift your account if suspended.

I'm using Yahoo answers an additional means of promotion of my blog - it is quite effective, I must say!

There are not so much peoples but they are good to answer.

I am not a fan of YA. And that is my way of being nice. I hate when I am researching products, or companies or whatever and I get forwarded to one of the YA sites. The information is almost always percursory if relevant at all. Bad Yahoo.

The main fun in Yahoo answers is that you can get different opinions and sometimes may get some very cool information.

Yahoo answers is a very good platform to clear all your queries or u can also clear other people queries. Its a nice source of getting traffic for your website too.

I do not rely much on yahoo answers because i tried to use that but they give me unrelated answers. spammers are everywhere. i wonder if they have any moderators for that.
