Hi, tell me how many target keywords should a website have !

Seo is the process of increasing the traffic to your website with out having to pay. This is done by choosing the right keywords.

Hallo! It depends: define the target segments of your website, then define the landing page for each segment and the generate keywords - I think, that 3-5 target keywords will be enough.

For website copy, a good rule of thumb is one or two keywords or phrases per every 100 words or so. Be sure you aren't keyword stuffing. Make the keywords flow naturally and be sure it is written for the end-user and not the search engines.

Just a tip my friend: The more keywords you're targeting, the more difficult for you to rank immediately. I suggest target at least 2-3 competitive keywords only per page.

maximum keywords should be of 200 words in meta or maximum 8-10 keywords.

Good to know, but how it is difficult to be ranked with 10 keywords.

the question itself is a little incorrect. But if we are talking about single page - it must be targetted for 1, maximum 2 keywords

No limit for whole website, but for any particular page of website i prefer to target four keywords max, reason for that is i use these four keywords in title tag, which allow only 60-65 characters.
